Hello, I am Harry

Several years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually blossomed into a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Began
Moving to United Kingdom wasn’t in the plan for the long term. Like many expat moves, it started as a work opportunity and soon grew into something far bigger.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new habits, new expectations. Routine tasks felt more intricate than they should.
The Adjustment Period
There was cultural shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But gradually, routines took shape. We found places that suited us, met other families, and began building something that felt steady.
Why I Created Lumen Marble Crest
Most information online was either corporate relocation advice or shallow tourism material. What was missing was an honest, everyday family perspective.
This site aims to fill that gap — practical guidance based on real life in United Kingdom.
